Grandma’s Head Spinning At Luxe Fitted Kitchen

We have a plethera of daytime lifestyle programmes currently – many of them deal with the buying of old houses and the ripping out of the existing fitted contents.  We agonise with the new owners over what exactly they should do with that spare bit of wall, should they take it out or use it for putting useful storage against it . . . . .   In today’s houses we seem to need so much more storage than ever before.  Particularly in the kitchen and dining end of the equation.  In grandma’s day, she was very lucky to get a tiny galley scullery – every great grandmother of previous generations would sit head in hands at the vast array of electrical gadgetry available to the modern home dweller nowadays.  From the simple buzz on/ off stick blenders right up to multi fuel cooking ranges with built in wok.  There would be much head spinning at such  luxury high end kitchenalia!
