I have younger relatives who have boght and moved in to their dream home out in the country.  It makes me smile as they are only in their late 20s and have not really had any problem with renting a grotty second hand flat or been stuck out in the middle of nowhere.  they actually shared my house for the time it took for their first house to be finished and they were able to save towards their part of the hefty deposit that way.  When they decided to expand – as quite frankly, that darling little starter home was going to engulfed by them from the word go.  They now have a beautifully converted stone and pantiled property,   It is indeed out in the middle of nowwhere, just a few houses lining the lane up to the farm.  They have reflected this glorious countryside in their choice of decor and exsquisitely toning furnishings and window dressings.
