Now There’s Home On The Range Times Two

I have a chum who lives in a house that was built to replace a much earlier model – I don’t know why it needed replacing but the current one dates from 1905 and is very authentic looking if it is meant to be 1700s English charm.  I always enjoyed just sitting chatting in their farmhouse style kitchen, it had an arga for cooking and water heating and no other cooking device.   The owners have recently had it altered, not a dramatic all shiny black and chrome edifice, but the huge chimney breast has gone, two corner cupboards removed and next to the original aga is now an electric range cooker – all very super duper and easy to control.  This one change has made such a difference but it needed a real kitchen craftsman to work out a design to utilise the space and get the right equipment to allow two working ranges without conflict!
