When you’ve been in a house for a long time, you tend to gloss over the very obvious imperfections and forget about them altogether.  I have many a time thought that my kitchen needs quite a bit of attention.  The cooker needs work in that the hobb is a way from the ovens and integral grill so if I’m cooking something on the hob that needs stirring, like scrambled egg, it’s not wise to do this the same time as the toast under the grill over the other side of the kitchen!  I resolved this so far by either using a toaster, or not having egg on toast.  But jesting aside, now is the time to take stock and work out the best arrangement for the essential items to be shifted around.  I shall be contacting this rather wonderful kitchen specialist and I know that their expertise will get me a sensible working arrangement that also suits my pocket!
